What a lovely quiet day yesterday was. Several things were ticked off the to-do list, but only things that had to do with making, thus keeping the "lovely" part.
This piece has to do with the connection of everything. It began with the cloth for the house (sprinkled with Deb's dying magic). A search for something to shine in the sky to led to Jude's pink moon. And then a question what if everything is all the same, which brought to mind, Carl Sagan's quote, "We are made of star-stuff."
In looking for the exact quote I found this one, too, “We are a way for the cosmos to know itself.”
and, "Exploration is in our nature. We began as wanderers, and we are wanderers still. We have lingered long enough on the shores of the cosmic ocean. We are ready at last to set sail for the stars.”
So much to think and stitch about . . .
"Star-stuff" is in the shop.
