Someone suggested writing or drawing how I'm feeling these days . . . this is what came out. I think this was the longest hardest week our house has ever had. All of us coping with our stress in discordant non-complementary ways. We did go to see the new Star Trek movie, where we managed to get along during the dark sitting still for two hours. Star Trek always helps. (Although, I did well up several times, not because of the movie, but from looking at Blue sitting next to me. Although, there were some heavy sighs for the memories of Leonard Nimoy and Anton Yelchin.)
I've started some pieces to work on for the next couple of weeks. Tomorrow K. and I will fly with Blue to Ohio, on Friday we will say our goodbyes and I will travel on to Providence to visit my sister for the next week. I'm thinking it was very good thinking to plan a fun trip following the separation. Going home without him would have been hard.
Once I'm back there will be school to get ready for, a watercolor class to go to, singing group starting up again, and more stitching and stitching. Keep busy, that's the plan, until things fall into their new rhythm. I've gone on and on about this, thank you for your indulgence. It's bound to be all ok soon.
Just in case I don't get back here in the next couple of weeks, have a wonderful summer's end!
