Another finished yarn on the niddy noddy and skeined up. It's merino and tussah silk dyed by Big Alice Dyes in the colorway "Are We There Yet?". It came out to be 232 yards chain-plied, which means that I spun 696 yards of the single, equalling 928 yards of spinning all together.

Which reminds me... in high school I took twice as many English classes than were required to graduate. All of those elective courses-tragicomedy, musical theater, creative writing, etc... I only took three years of math- algebra I, geometry, algebra II There was a long lecture from my dad, about how I was throwing my future away by not taking calculus. Though not as long as the one later in the year, when I quit basketball to devote myself to theater. Did you know that "sports will teach you all you need to know about getting along in life and the theater will offer you nothing,."? I digress. So, I studied literature, writing, and theater -and took those college entrance exams, earning a much higher score in the math section than in the language one.

Maybe I missed my calling?
